Hung out at Michelle's presentation this afternoon. Her usual amazing presentation style with a great overview of the how and why of GIS. The maps were a big hit and there was an audible gasp when she showed the "heat overlay" of the heavy use areas.
Another featured project was a program series teaching teens digital arts and photography. Seems like they had good outcomes teaching teens (and staff) how to use cameras and tablets to create art. Every teen in the world has taken a selfie but few have used their devices to express themselves artistically through photography. Definitely a feel-good program.
